VOWS — Privacy Policy

VOWS keeps your training data on your device and, if iCloud Drive is on, in a backup file in your own iCloud Drive. There is no VOWS account, no VOWS server, and no analytics or advertising tracking of any kind.
Who we are
VOWS is an independent iOS app developed by a solo developer. Contact: onurdemirelapps@gmail.com.
What the app stores, and where
On your device
Everything you create in VOWS is written to your iPhone's local app storage:
- Your profile: name, and optionally gender, age, height, weight, and how many days a week you train.
- Your programs, workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, rest times and notes.
- Custom exercises you add, your performance history, and your language and unit preferences.
This data is not transmitted to us. We have no server that could receive it.
Apple Health
If you grant permission, VOWS reads two things from Apple Health and writes one:

Health data is read on your device, used on your device, and stored with the rest of your training data on your device. It is never sent to us, and it is not included in the iCloud backup. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app → your profile → Apps → VOWS.
iCloud backup
If iCloud Drive is turned on for your device, VOWS automatically writes a single backup file to your own iCloud Drive after each finished session and when you change your programs or profile. It contains your programs, sessions (sets, reps, weights and times), custom exercises, performance history, the coach's advice log and your profile. Heart rate and calories read from Apple Health are removed before the file is written; after a restore, VOWS reads them again from Apple Health on your device. The file is stored in your Apple account, not ours — we cannot read it, list it, or delete it. You can turn iCloud Drive off for VOWS in your device's iCloud settings.
Exports you initiate
When you export your data as CSV or a PDF report, the file is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is entirely your choice. VOWS does not upload it anywhere.
Coach report
The weekly coach report and the program report are written by fixed rules inside the app, entirely on your device. No language model or outside service is involved, and your training data is not sent anywhere for this.
Subscriptions
VOWS Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.
To determine whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation, your purchase and receipt information from Apple, and basic device and country information. It does not receive your training data, your Health data, or your name.
What we do not do
- No VOWS account and no sign-in. We do not collect your email address.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind — the app contains none.
- No selling or sharing of personal data. There is nothing to sell; we do not hold your data.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
Children
VOWS is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights and your control
- Access and export. Your data is on your device; you can export all of it as CSV from the app at any time.
- Deletion. Deleting the app removes all local data. The iCloud backup file is deleted from your device's iCloud storage settings.
- Health access. Revocable at any time in iOS Settings.
- Subscription data. To request deletion of the identifier held by RevenueCat, write to us at the address above.
If you are in the EU or the UK, we process the small amount of subscription data described above on the basis of performing our contract with you (providing a paid subscription). Everything else stays on your device (and, if iCloud Drive is on, in your own iCloud Drive) and is not processed by us at all. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR; for data we do not hold, these are exercised directly on your device as described above.
If you are in Türkiye, the same applies under KVKK. Because your training and health data never reach any server of ours, we are not a data controller for it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.

VOWS antrenman verini cihazında ve iCloud Drive açıksa kendi iCloud Drive'ındaki bir yedek dosyasında tutar. VOWS hesabı yoktur, VOWS sunucusu yoktur, hiçbir türde analitik ya da reklam takibi yoktur.

Uygulama neyi nerede saklıyor
Cihazında
VOWS'ta oluşturduğun her şey iPhone'unun yerel uygulama alanına yazılır:
- Profilin: adın ve istersen cinsiyet, yaş, boy, kilo, haftada kaç gün çalıştığın.
- Programların, antrenman seansların, setler, tekrarlar, ağırlıklar, dinlenme süreleri ve notların.
- Eklediğin özel hareketler, performans geçmişin, dil ve birim tercihlerin.
Bu veri bize iletilmez. Onu alabilecek bir sunucumuz yok.
Apple Health
İzin verirsen VOWS, Apple Health'ten iki şey okur ve bir şey yazar:

Sağlık verisi cihazında okunur, cihazında kullanılır ve antrenman verinin geri kalanıyla birlikte cihazında saklanır. Bize hiç gönderilmez ve iCloud yedeğine girmez. Erişimi istediğin an Sağlık uygulaması → profilin → Uygulamalar → VOWS üzerinden değiştirebilir ya da geri alabilirsin.
iCloud yedeği
Cihazında iCloud Drive açıksa VOWS her seanstan sonra ve programını ya da profilini değiştirdiğinde senin kendi iCloud Drive'ına kendiliğinden tek bir yedek dosyası yazar. İçinde programların, seansların (set, tekrar, ağırlık ve saatler), özel hareketlerin, performans geçmişin, koçun tavsiye defteri ve profilin bulunur. Apple Sağlık'tan okunan nabız ve kalori dosya yazılmadan önce çıkarılır; geri yüklemeden sonra VOWS onları cihazında Apple Sağlık'tan yeniden okur. Dosya senin Apple hesabında durur, bizimkinde değil — biz onu okuyamayız, göremeyiz, silemeyiz. VOWS için iCloud Drive'ı cihazının iCloud ayarlarından kapatabilirsin.
Senin başlattığın dışa aktarımlar
Verini CSV ya da PDF rapor olarak dışa aktardığında dosya cihazında oluşturulur ve iOS paylaşım sayfasına verilir. Oradan nereye gideceği tamamen senin seçimin. VOWS onu hiçbir yere yüklemez.
Koç raporu
Haftalık koç raporu ve program raporu uygulamanın içindeki sabit kurallarla, tamamen cihazında yazılır. Bir dil modeli ya da dış servis kullanılmaz; antrenman verin bunun için hiçbir yere gönderilmez.
Abonelik
VOWS Pro, App Store üzerinden satılan kendiliğinden yenilenen bir aboneliktir. Ödemeler Apple tarafından işlenir; ödeme bilgilerini biz hiç görmeyiz.
Aboneliğinin etkin olup olmadığını anlamak için uygulama, bir abonelik altyapısı sağlayıcısı olan RevenueCat'i kullanır. RevenueCat; kurulumun için rastgele üretilmiş bir kimlik, Apple'dan gelen satın alma ve makbuz bilgisi, temel cihaz ve ülke bilgisini alır. Antrenman verini, sağlık verini ya da adını almaz.
Yapmadıklarımız
- VOWS hesabı ve giriş yok. E-posta adresini toplamıyoruz.
- Hiçbir türde analitik, çökme raporlama, reklam ya da takip SDK'sı yok — uygulamanın içinde bunlardan hiçbiri bulunmuyor.
- Kişisel veri satışı ya da paylaşımı yok. Satacak bir şey de yok; verini elimizde tutmuyoruz.
- Başka uygulama ve sitelerde takip yok.
Çocuklar
VOWS 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve onlardan bilerek veri toplamayız.
Haklarının ve denetimin
- Erişim ve dışa aktarma. Verin cihazında; istediğin an uygulamadan tamamını CSV olarak dışa aktarabilirsin.
- Silme. Uygulamayı silmek tüm yerel veriyi kaldırır. iCloud yedek dosyası cihazının iCloud depolama ayarlarından silinir.
- Sağlık erişimi. iOS Ayarlar'dan istediğin an geri alınabilir.
- Abonelik verisi. RevenueCat'te tutulan kimliğin silinmesini istemek için yukarıdaki adresten bize yaz.
Avrupa Birliği ya da Birleşik Krallık'taysan, yukarıda anlatılan küçük miktardaki abonelik verisini seninle olan sözleşmemizi ifa etmek (ücretli abonelik sağlamak) hukuki sebebine dayanarak işliyoruz. Geri kalan her şey cihazında (ve iCloud Drive açıksa kendi iCloud Drive'ında) kalıyor ve bizim tarafımızdan hiç işlenmiyor. GDPR kapsamındaki erişim, düzeltme, silme, kısıtlama, taşınabilirlik ve itiraz haklarına sahipsin; elimizde olmayan veri için bu hakları yukarıda anlatıldığı gibi doğrudan cihazında kullanıyorsun.
Türkiye'deysen aynısı KVKK kapsamında geçerli. Antrenman ve sağlık verin bize ait hiçbir sunucuya ulaşmadığı için bu veriler bakımından veri sorumlusu değiliz.
Değişiklikler
Bu metin değişirse en üstteki tarih de değişir. Önemli değişiklikler uygulamanın sürüm notlarında belirtilir.
